Privacy

Privacy, in plain terms.

Most tools stay in your browser. The live IP check describes its network boundary below.

Browser-local tools

Formatters, encoders, decoders, converters, generators, and text tools process your values in the browser. Inputs and outputs are not sent to a Serialize processing endpoint or placed in page URLs. The site does not provide accounts or cloud history for tool results.

AI headshot generator

The AI headshot generator sends the photo you choose, your selected style, and generation settings to the selected AI model provider through AI Runtime only when you request a generation. Serialize does not save the uploaded or generated image in its own database. The provider may process request data under its own service terms and retention policy.

AI mascot generator

The AI mascot generator sends your brief to AI Runtime only after six paid credits have been reserved. It uses the brief to plan three directions and create six images. Completed images are kept in private object storage for up to seven days and can be fetched only by the signed-in account that created them. Failed images are not charged, and failed reservations are released. AI providers may process request data under their own service terms and retention policies.

Live IP check

Opening the IP page sends a same-origin request to the Serialize Worker. It reads the public address and request metadata needed for the initial result. When you select Refresh, the browser asks ipinfo.io, or api64.ipify.org if the first observer is unavailable, to report the current proxy exit independently of Serialize. Those services receive the public address and standard request metadata under their own policies. Serialize sends the observed address to its Worker only to produce the reputation report. Successful reputation reports are cached for up to 30 days under a key derived from the address; unsuccessful checks are not cached. The browser responses remain private and no-store. Browser language, time zone, screen, and connection estimate stay on the device. Hosting infrastructure may process standard request metadata for security and reliability.

Clipboard and assets

Copy writes a result to the system clipboard only when you ask. Adobe Fonts and, after you select OCR, cdn.jsdelivr.net and paddle-model-ecology.bj.bcebos.com may receive standard request metadata needed to deliver those assets. PDFs, rendered pages, and results are not included in those requests.
